The San Antonio Men’s Lacrosse club plays in the premier Men’s Club League in Texas, the SWLA, Southwest Lacrosse Association. The SWLA is made up of teams from San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Houston. 2009 will be the first year in which the SWLA will be split up into two separate divisions, North and South. Teams in the Dallas area will comprise the North Division, and the South will be made up of teams from Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. This will cut down on the amount of traveling required for all teams, and should bring more teams and players out to participate. San Antonio has been in the league longer than all current teams, and has traditionally been made up of players from the different Army and Air Force bases as well as professionals from all backgrounds in San Antonio. We are looking forward to another great year in the league, and are always looking for more players of all skill levels.
